a) Re – your suspicions of juries – partially due to lack of impartiality? Similar issues very publicly on display in Sotomayar hearings.

b) Re – unwieldy size of juries – wonder if you have any thoughts on unwieldiness of that other over crowded Athenian activity – direct democracy and its modern incarnation in California’s proposition process – supposedly now leading to ungovernability. Hope you will write (here or for your day job) about that.
